Our Staff

We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and management team! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids ‘R’ Kids.

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty & personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.

Admin Director - Dawn Tejero

Ms. Dawn has worked in the Early Childhood field since 1989.  She has been a part of the TEAM at Kids 'R' Kids of Cinco Ranch since 2005.  Ms. Dawn truly loves making a difference in the lives of children.  She is a certified 1st Aid and CPR Trainer and a certified Director in the field of Early Childhood education.

Education Director - Lea Martinez

Ms. Lea received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has been in the education field for 10 years with experience as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and an Outreach Educator. She came to Kids 'R' Kids of Cinco Ranch from the Houston Children's Museum, where she worked as an Outreach Educator.  She is excited to be a part of the team at Kids 'R' Kids of Cinco Ranch and look forward to making all children lifelong learners.
